Porsche 997 Turbo 549 Ps 816 Nm Stage 1+

The 997 was an evolution of the preceding 996, with the most significant changes being interior and exterior styling. The 997 is the internal designation for the Porsche 911 sports car manufactured and sold by German manufacturer Porsche between 2004 (as Model Year 2005) and 2012.

The turbo 997 is equipped with a twin turbo 6 cylinder flat 3.6l producing 480 Ps and 620 Nm (681 Nm with overboost function) using a manual or a tiptronic  awd transmission. Our task is to re-calibrate the engine in order to produce more power and torque with the stock Bosch Me7.8.2 engine management system. The programing procedure will be done by the obd2 port using our cmd flash unit.

Before we do anything to our clients car we always check the condition of the engine by testing the vehicle in our awd dynamometer runing various tests including the initial power output and here are the results before and after the tuning procedure.

Our 997 turbo was equipped with an aftermarket exhaust system and a free flow air filter from k&n. The initial power output 481 Ps and 600 Nm which is close to the original 620nm(680nm with over-boost) and that is totally normal as the car already had 126.000km on the clock. With the use of 100 octane fuel and our stage 1 + software the power output after the re-calibration is 548.5 Ps and 816 Nm.
